2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic $28-$31 DIRECT HIRE Canton MA

Schedule 2nd shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM Monday - Friday (Will train in the 1st shift)

SUMMARY: Setup, maintain and operate the production equipment and utility system. Work on routine assignments following established Standard Operational Procedures, and current Good Manufacturing Practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Possess basic mechanical skills and foundational electrical knowledge.

* Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

* Review blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications, and manuals to understand key information and procedures for machine operation and setup.

* Set up critical production equipment.

* Provide technical support for equipment operation and production processes.

* Ensure proper maintenance of machinery.

* Perform routine maintenance tasks as required.

* Develop job plans and perform corrective maintenance.

* Troubleshoot basic machine issues.

* Install replacement parts and test machinery to ensure functionality and performance.

* Adhere to written Standard Operating Procedures for controlled and classified areas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* 1-year certification from college or technical school or 4-7 years related experience and/or training, or graduated from 2-year College or Bachelor's degree from 4-year College.
