Rehire criteria:

This position is responsible to diagnose issues, adjust, repair, and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

• Must be able to communicate and interface with management and other personnel.
• Capable of reading & following instructions as well as technical manuals.
• Capable of learning skills in welding, hydraulics, power transmissions and machine tool practices.
• Must be willing to be a back-up CDL driver which requires CDL certification with Tyson Foods.
• Knowledge of DOT requirements relating to equipment maintenance.
• Require standing on hard surface for up to 12 hours per day. Work is performed in a noisy work environment with temperature ranging from 40 to 90 degrees.
• Must have the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 70 lbs. occasionally and 10 lbs.
• frequently. This job is based out of the Seguin location.
