RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a 70% BE/30% FE Java/API/Oracle PL/SQL in Westlake, TX.Responsibilities:- Actively contributing to team of developers and tech leads with specific emphasis on sound fundamental development methodology
- Supporting project development policies, procedures, standards and strategies
- Participating in the Defined Benefit team's effort to improve the efficiency and quality of the entire development process
- Keeping focus of the work in terms of Customer obsession
- Embrace continuous improvement regarding application quality and stability
- Partner with Technical Lead on improvement opportunities for our applications
- Strong sense of ownership for the quality of solution delivery and level of partnership with the business
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS degree or above in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Java, JEE development using Spring/Spring Boot framework and ORM frameworks like MyBatis, Hibernate, etc.
- 2+ years of current hands-on experience with responsive and progressive web application development using TypeScript 4.0+, JavaScript, Angular 11+
- 2+ years of experience in database tools and development using PL/SQL/T-SQL
- Experience in tools and methods to enable efficiency, performance and agility through automating DevOps processes (GitHub, Maven, Jenkins)
- Working knowledge of testing automation frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, PowerMock, Karma, Jasmine, Protractor, etc.
- Deep understanding of RESTful API design, including versioning, API documentation (Swagger)
- Good understanding of containerization with Docker, Kubernetes using Helm, ConfigMaps and YAML is a plus
- Knowledge of public/private cloud capabilities including compute, storage, database is a plus
- Defined Benefit domain knowledge and Agile experience is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
