Position Overview:
The Accounting Manager will play a critical role in overseeing our financial processes and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, exceptional leadership skills. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making and drive the company's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to gather input and provide financial analysis.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to enhance internal controls and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and coordinate annual audit activities.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Collaborate with the executive team to provide strategic financial insights and support key business initiatives.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and enhance financial performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA designation preferred.
- 4+ years of experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting
