Accounting Manager - Cash

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager specializing in cash accounting functions to lead our onshore and offshore teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cash management, accounting, and analysis of cash-related transactions, along with excellent reporting and team leadership skills. Join our team and play a crucial role in managing the accounting and analysis of cash transactions while ensuring accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the onshore and offshore cash accounting function, implementing and monitoring internal controls to safeguard against errors and fraud.
• Oversee the daily and periodic accounting cash reconciliation process for disbursement, corporate, and store accounts.
• Assist in coordinating the periodic/quarter/year-end close activities related to cash.
• Review and approve journal entries, prepare account analysis, and generate period close exception reports.
• Assist with external/internal audit requests.
• Liaise with Store General Managers (GMs) on cash variances and other cash-related adjustments.
• Review periodic account reconciliations, including detailed monitoring of items categorized as class Rs.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline cash accounting processes and enhance financial controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, IT, and Executive Leadership.
• Supervise 2-3 Accounting team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting with a focus on cash management.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Experience working in a multinational publicly traded company with offshore operations is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles, financial reporting, and cash flow analysis.
• Proficiency in using Oracle or similar ERP software.
