Description: Our client is currently seeking a Assc Patient Care Coordinator to join their team!
Scope of Role:
Location: Long Beach, NY
Hours: Monday- 12-8, Tuesday- 12-8, Thursday,9-5
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Answer phones and schedule patient appointments.
- Collect and verify patient demographic information, insurance eligibility.
- Check out patients and schedule follow-up appointments.
- Scan necessary medical documents
- Call follow-up with patient to include rescheduling appointments that were cancelled, and no-shows.
- Collect copays and past balances.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous experience with EPIC
- 1+ years of experience in a Medical Office
