Position Summary:The Assistant Director reports to the Director of Alumni Engagement Events as part of the dynamic alumni engagement events team and will partner with the donor engagement team in support of the W&M Advancement mission, assisting with events and event programming to engage friends and alumni of the university, hosted by the Office of University Advancement. Working collaboratively with colleagues in University Marketing, University Advancement and across campus, the Assistant Director will assist in event management and programming, as well as marketing and messaging for events and event programming.
The successful Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement Events will be an innovator who will foster a culture of belonging that embraces all people and perspectives. This is a hybrid position based in Williamsburg, Virginia, that offers a flexible work environment.
