RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Superintendent in planning, managing, and implementing schedules to meet deadlines..
• Coordinate and supervise construction workers and subcontractors..
• Select tools, materials, and equipment and track inventory.
• Monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices, and standards.
• Ensure all onsite personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc.
• Document all violations, notify project management, recommend/implement corrective actions as required.
• Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and assist in its organization, scheduling, and implementation.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to contract specifications and building codes.
• Participate in meetings to discuss construction progress and project scheduling.
• Maintain project documentation and daily logs.
• Assist in resolving any issues that may arise during the construction process.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, or vocational school program, ideally in a construction-related field required.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related major preferred.
• 3+ years heavy construction experience.
• Experience in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
