Job Details:
SUMMARY: The responsibilities for this position include generating reports; accurate and efficient order entry and maintenance for moving product between Freezers and Plants; maintaining files; coordinating and interfacing with team members by telephone email or fax. The responsibility for this position also includes communication daily with corporate, sales and scheduling departments.
This position will work daily with USDA officials and is required to do all exporting documents for multiple countries throughout the world. The position will cover both the fresh side and frozen side of exporting and attention to detail is vital as documents that are done incorrectly can cause major effects to the business as well as exporting out of the facility. Individuals must maintain professionalism with the amount of daily communication they will have with customers and corporate alike. Management has the authority to have the individual in this role work up to 10 hours daily and weekends will be required when necessary (6 days a week).
Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as: setting priorities, organizing work, selecting appropriate methods to complete assigned tasks, evaluating results, and coordinating with others; additional responsibilities as assigned.
The position requires a great deal of attention to detail and information tracking. The work environment is very professional and fast paced.
B Shift: Primary hours will be 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM; but work hours will vary as this position is designed to cover multiple shifts for vacation purposes. **Applicants hired will need to cover work shifts on A, B and C shifts.**
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience: Previous business office experience preferred.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills with a preference for the Tyson Business Computer Systems an understanding of the system features and how to use these features. The primary systems include the Product Availability PA and Order Processing ORP Systems both with windows and mainframe components and Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis in Excel and Outlook.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills a clear concise professional and customer-focused communication style.
Special Skills: Must be proficient with data entry.

Position-Specific Requirements: This individual must be willing to cross-train on several other positions within the scheduling department; cover vacations sick leave and work different shift hours.
