Seeking a highly motivated individual with assay development and flow cytometry experience to join a growing Translational Science/Clinical Biomarker group. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Clinical Biomarkers and be responsible for designing, performing, and analyzing experiments to support multiple programs.

What you will do:

• Develop and optimize cellular assays aimed to support clinical biomarker discovery and development
• Prepare samples and perform immunophenotyping assays using multicolor flow cytometry
• Design and conduct serological assays (such as ELISA or Luminex) to measure inflammatory and soluble biomarkers
• Draft SOPs and facilitate assay transfer to external vendors
• Oversee external vendors, data QC and trouble shoot as needed
• Maintain lab equipment, lab supplies and keep a clean/safe lab
• Interact with cross-functional teams and plan multiple projects simultaneously

Minimum requirements:

• PhD in cell biology or molecular biology or similar discipline, or a Master's degree with 3+ years' experience in a lab setting
• Hands-on experience in multicolor flow cytometry, including sample preparation for immunophenotyping, data collection and analysis
• Previous experience in immunoassays (ELISA, western blots, immunofluorescence etc) and molecular biology techniques
• Previous experience with human blood handing and PBMC isolation
• Experience in primary cell culture, and familiarity with basic phenotypes of immune cell subsets preferred
• Able to communicate effectively and work efficiently with team members
• Excellent organizational skills
