Business Services Specialist I - (Medical Payment Posting Specialist)TUMG Financial Accounting

Summary

Posts insurance and patient payments manually and electronically to Patient Accounts; reconciles Remittance Advices (RA) as necessary; investigates and resolves discrepancies.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Three (3) years' healthcare billing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive experience with reviewing and/or analyzing patient accounts to determine appropriate charges and/or payments

• Experience in a University and/or Healthcare setting;knowledge of generally accepted Academic Medical Group principals and theories
