Location: Portage, IN
Salary: $90,000.00 USD Annually - $105,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer. The CI Efficiency Engineer will support plant operations through the utilization of continuous improvement techniques. Will have the opportunity to work with all departments at all levels for a broad range of career encounters that is conducive of professional self-development with highly experienced coworkers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead teams to enhance processes and results.
• Offer guidance and training on Lean & Six Sigma methods.
• Engage in problem-solving and improvement activities.
• Serve as a key player in continuous improvement projects.
• Help departments meet key performance indicators.
• Develop and train staff on business management systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 2-5 years in manufacturing, ideally in steel or heavy industry.
  
• Familiar with continuous improvement tools.

Preferred Skills:

• Six-Sigma Greenbelt
• Trained in Lean Manufacturing and waste reduction.
• Skilled in Business Analytics.
