Posting Summary:

The primary goal of this role is to develop and sustain relationships between UVM's first and second year BIPOC students and the Mosaic Center for Students of Color (MCSC), particularly those students who have not joined affinity (student) groups. This entails a broad array of work-from programming (both collaborative and independently imagined and executed), to tailored outreach, to coordinating campus partners drop-ins, to coordinating the Summer Enhancement Scholars Program, to being present in resource fairs, admitted student days, and so on. This position reports to the Director of the MCSC.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience):

· Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.· Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum of one to three years of relevant experience.· Demonstrated awareness of the specific needs of students of color and experience working with said population.· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.· Ability to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.· Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Anticipated Pay Range:

$23.85/hr to $26.15/hr

Special Conditions:

External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, Non-standard work hours required, Bargaining unit position, A probationary period may be required, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), Background Check required for this position
