Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit:

The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy (www.pharmacy.unc.edu) is one of six health science schools (Pharmacy, Nursing, Dentistry, Social Work, Public Health, Medicine) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is one of the oldest health science academic programs at Chapel Hill. The School teaches approximately 600 PharmD students and 145 graduate students. Position Summary:

The Program Manager for Culture and Well-Being will be responsible for overseeing program management and communicating objectives to ensure alignment with School, University, and alumni key stakeholders. This position will serve a critical need in program management of the School's strategic plan priorities that inspire an engaged and inclusive community. The Program Manager will serve in a key leadership role within the Office of Culture and Well-being, managing strategic initiatives and daily operations and will work collaboratively and support the Associate Dean of Culture and Well-Being and the Director of Well-Being and Resilience to ensure that students, faculty, and staff of all backgrounds are welcomed, included, and supported and that student and employee well-being is a priority. The Program Manager for Culture and Well-being will assess cultural intelligence and well-being initiatives, and collate data for benchmarking, among students, staff, faculty, and alumni. The program manager will work closely with the Dean's office; all divisions, offices, and units throughout the School; and with the School's faculty, staff, and students and oversee programmatic development, implementation, management, and data analysis to drive impact and strategies that support the Office in advancing the School's vision and mission.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience:

* Strategic thinker with excellent program and process management skills

* Highly proficient in relevant software programs (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) with particular strengths in Excel and PowerPoint, along with ability to learn new software and systems

* Must be driven and a self-starter who demonstrates accountability

* Experience with program management and end-to-end execution

* Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

* Experience translating data into actionable insights and recommended solutions

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience:

* Advanced knowledge of the area of assignment, or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred

Campus Security Authority Responsibilities:

This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority in accordance with the Clery Act. This position will be required to report Clery crimes to the Clery Compliance Manager and complete annual training about reporting responsibilities.
