Opportunity Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to join our Cyber & Digital Risk Management (C&DR) team at BD. The Cyber Compliance Analyst will be responsible for developing, managing, and monitoring compliance with cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures. This role involves ensuring that our organization adheres to external, global regulations and industry standards, including CMMC, GDPR, HIPAA, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, implement, monitor and assess processes that track compliance with cybersecurity policies and standards.
- Conduct regular internal assessments to identify compliance gaps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
- Stay up to date and maintain in-depth knowledge of changes in cybersecurity regulations and industry standards.
- Provide training and awareness programs on cybersecurity policies and compliance requirements.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of risk management strategies.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during compliance assessments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in related field
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar preferred.
- Proven experience in developing and managing cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
- Strong understanding of ISO 27001, NIST 800-53 rev 5, CMMC, GDPR, HIPAA and other similar compliance frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with internal and external compliance audits.
