Our division is driven by over 80 faculty, clinician educators and instructors who are the pillar of strength in the Division's ongoing efforts into the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease.The Computational Arrhythmia Research laboratory works at the intersection of bioengineering, data science and cardiac electrophysiology (heart rhythm disorders). Our goal is to use detailed data from patients to better understand disease mechanisms, particularly for atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia, and use computational models, machine learning and other tools to develop improved diagnostic and treatment tools. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Database Administrator 1 to join our team. The Database Administrator 1 will maintain operationally efficient databases for our clinical and laboratory data and, when necessary, upgrade the database architecture. The successful candidate will be familiar with and responsible for curating data from clinical data repositories such as STARR, validating its accuracy with other team members, then storing it on platforms such as RedCap or Box. The successful candidate will be able to provide subviews of the master database to address relevant queries from the team, and will be responsible for presenting the results. Duties include:
