RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a DevOps/Cloud Engineer.Responsibilities:- Design/develop release automation scripts in conjunction with existing resources and tooling
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and supporting infrastructure, system, and security configurations and policies
- Overseeing the release of new software versions and managing the implementation process
- Implementing advanced observability practices, including the monitoring of system behavior and resource utilization to identify constraints, prepare for future scaling needs, and ensure optimal system performance
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7-10 years of DevOps Cloud Engineering experience
- Advanced knowledge of Groovy scripting for Jenkins
- Design/develop release automation scripts in conjunction with existing resources and tooling
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and supporting infrastructure, system, and security configurations and policies
- Experience overseeing the release of new software versions and managing the implementation process
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (network, security, deployment, automation, serverless technologies), ideally with the related certification.
- Hands-On Kubernetes skills and knowledge, including GitOps for Release Management using ArgoCD, Helm, and/or similar technologies
- Hands on experience with one or more Observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry, SplunkCloud, etc.)
- Proven experience in implementing advanced observability practices, including the monitoring of system behavior and resource utilization to identify constraints, prepare for future scaling needs, and ensure optimal system performance
- Strong technical design, development, analysis and problem-solving skills
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Agile Software Development Methodologies
- Groovy scripting for Jenkins
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
