Director, Project Management
Job Description Summary
This role reports to the Regional Executive Account Director and is responsible for all aspects of service delivery for this account relationship to include profitability, performance, growth, and client satisfaction. As the Senior Director of PMO, this role will develop and oversee the successful delivery of two key project management services for our client:
1. Directly oversee the Program Management Office team that governs the processes to deliver projects at our client's corporate headquarters. Collaborate with our client to competitively bid projects with a budget value of over (>) $1M USD. This work is bid and awarded on a project-by-project basis to a roster of firms (including C&W) by our client's procurement team. The PMO team is responsible to define and apply C&W's project management policies, processes, methodology, and standards for the delivery of all projects.
2. Also reporting to this role will be a Project Management Director that will lead a large project management team responsible for the tactical delivery of a high volume of projects at our client's corporate headquarters. All projects with a budget value of less than (<) $1M USD will be exclusively assigned to this team and delivered in compliance with the governance model established and maintained by the PMO.

Essential Job Duties:
- Manage the financial and contract performance outcome of one or more account teams
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the client's business goals and strategies to align real estate services to contribute to these objectives
- Establish and implement the overall vision, strategy and performance metrics to the applicable service lines
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Implement and manage account governance process
- Provide disciplined contract management to meet superior delivery of all contract deliverables
- Contribute to GOS Management team to develop service delivery strategies, structure service delivery model, alternative pricing, identify team members and lead multi-disciplinary team preparing responses to RFPs and presentations
- Have a thorough understanding of the C&W platform and identify existing and new opportunities for enhancing service solutions and capabilities
- Oversee risk mitigation and dispute resolution for client and C&W
- Lead and actively manage account talent in partnership with HR, including promotion of diversity & inclusion, talent reviews, performance reviews, succession planning etc.
- Attract and maintain top talent and provide on-going mentoring to team for superior performance
- Drive collaboration and performance of all partners including Finance, HR, Sourcing, Legal, GCI etc.
- Responsible for revenue generation, account P&L management, profitability and overall financial performance
- Contribute to the overall service and financial performance of C&W through effective cross-selling and relationship / contract expansion

Full-Lifecycle Project Leadership: Lead the teams responsible for the execution of projects from concept to completion, setting deadlines, assigning tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring successful delivery for both vendor and internal projects.

Resource Management Mastermind: Proactively forecast resource needs to achieve objectives and manage resources effectively and efficiently.

Team Builder and Mentor: Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional project management teams, fostering a collaborative environment and a culture of continuous improvement.

Project Management Process Guru: Advise and lead the development of the processes, tools and strategies to successfully manage project scope, timelines, and budgets. This includes identifying risks, developing risk mitigation strategies, and adjusting ensure project success.

CW and Departmental Leadership Liaison: Drive project transparency by regularly briefing Senior and Departmental Leadership within C&W on Account health, ensuring quality delivery through robust QA processes, and developing effective communication strategies.
Education/Experience/Training:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's Degree or MBA are desired but not required).
- Ten years of related account and project management experience in corporate real estate as well as 5 years of management experience.
- Expert level knowledge of project and change management methodologies, techniques, processes (e.g. Project & Portfolio Management Methodology)
- Proven experience in the development and successful management of a PMO overseeing both internal and external delivery teams managing corporate upfit projects in occupied work environments.
- PMP or PgMP a plus.
- Applicable experience and success managing the budget, cost and profitability of a company or account
- Ability to influence without authority
- Comfortable promoting innovation and seeking ways to grow the business in a positive, trusted advisor capacity
- A passion to serve and exceed our client's expectations
- Demonstrated leadership ability to recruit, develop, and manage a high-performance team

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $182,750.00 - $215,000.00
