Volt is immediately hiring an Electrical Wiring Technician in West Chester, Ohio.

As an Electrical Wiring Technician you will:

• Installs electrical wiring systems for, switchgears, UPS, panelboards, lighting, switches, outlets and transformers
• Installs conduits, electrical wires, and cables
• Ensures conduit install complies with electrical codes
• Installs Ladder cable trays, and Basket cable trays
• Installs Circuit breaker and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them
• Installs power feeders to equipment's
• Installs branch circuits
• Inspects electrical systems to ensure proper installation is up to code
• Installs low voltage/control wiring
• Terminates power feeders (compression lugs), branch circuits, and control wiring
• Performs other related duties as assigned

This is a Full-Time opportunity.

The ideal Electrical Wiring Technician candidate will have:

• Able to read blueprints
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools
• Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledgeable in the NEC Code
• Must be able to read and speak English
• Highschool diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of formal apprenticeship is preferred, and electrician's license preferred.
• Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders
• Capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits, and cable trays
• Able to lift to 50 pounds at a time

Hours are Monday-Friday 5am-1:30pm

Pay Rate: $25.00 an hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
