Role:

The Employee Experience Specialist is responsible for managing and executing company-wide retention and recognition programs that celebrate and appreciate employees for their contributions along with retaining talent. This role will work closely with HR and leadership teams to design, implement, and evaluate retention and recognition initiatives that align with Nextech's culture, values, and business goals, ensuring that all employees feel valued and motivated.

Min CompensationUSD $63,000.00/Yr. Max CompensationUSD $73,000.00/Yr. Responsibilities
  • Designs, manages, and monitors the execution of comprehensive employee retention and recognition programs, including awards, milestones, anniversaries, and peer-to-peer recognition initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational values and goals
  • Researches and integrates the latest trends and best practices in employee recognition to improve program effectiveness, inclusivity, and employee engagement
  • Partners with senior leadership and Senior Vice Presidents of Operations (SVPs) to plan and execute the Tech Awards program, overseeing seamless event coordination, nomination processes, and timely award distribution
  • Leads internal communication efforts for retention and recognition programs, ensuring all employees are informed about upcoming events, recognition opportunities, and program details through clear and engaging messaging
  • Manages relationships with external vendors, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of awards, gifts, and other recognition materials while maintaining cost-efficiency and quality standards
  • Accurately maintains detailed records of retention and recognition activities, including nominations, awards, engagement efforts, program budgets, and related metrics, ensuring compliance with organizational standards
  • Prepares and delivers regular reports to leadership on the impact, effectiveness, and participation in retention and recognition programs, using data to drive continuous improvement
  • Collects and analyzes employee feedback on retention and recognition programs to identify areas for improvement and recommends strategies that enhance program engagement and participation
  • Ensures clear and effective communication of recognition initiatives, updates, and policy changes, keeping all employees informed and engaged
  • Serve as back up for the benefits and wellness administrator, ensuring employees are informed about available resources and initiatives that contribute to their physical, mental, and emotional well-being
  • May provide administrative support during benefits open enrollment, including clear communication of benefits options, assisting with employee inquiries, and ensuring accurate auditing of enrollment data
  • Ensures the secure maintenance of confidential employee data in compliance with privacy regulations such as HIPAA and organizational data protection policies
  • Completes tasks and special projects as assigned, in a safe, accurate, thorough, and alert manner
  • Upholds Company policies and procedures
  • Works in a professional manner with managers, supervisors, coworkers, customers, and the public
  • Other related job duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to manage data, generate reports, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective engagement with employees, vendors, and cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to plan, organize, and execute employee retention and recognition programs and events
  • Expertise in organizational and time-management skills, with experience handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in recognition program software, data tracking, reporting tools, and HRIS platforms (experience with UKG and Nectar a plus)
  • Collaborative team player skilled at managing multiple priorities and fostering relationships across departments and with external vendors
  • Expertise in designing innovative retention and recognition programs that engage employees and align with company needs
  • Proficient in assessing program performance and analyzing data to drive program improvements
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., HR, Benefits, Finance)
  • Passionate about employee recognition, well-being, and staying current with industry trends and best practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, formulas)
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments
  • Strong initiative and the ability to complete tasks independently with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
