The Intern Program is a unique initiative to equip our future engineers and plant leaders within the company with the experiences and skills to make them successful within Ardagh. It is designed to provide solid glass experience for hands-on individuals who are seeking a career in manufacturing. The objective of the Intern Program is to provide its members with a broad manufacturing experience and a sound understanding of the glass composition and production process including technical, quality, and safety skills.

The program will consist of work assignments that will lay a strong foundation for future careers in manufacturing helping members become an expert in the glass manufacturing operations. Intern participants will:

  • Become assimilated into the Ardagh Group organization by participating in a comprehensive orientation program.
  • be assigned to a mentor within Ardagh Group
  • be exposed and work on special assignment(s) to help the plants meet goals and leverage learning from work experiences

Qualifications:
  • Must be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university and will have completed at least one year at the undergraduate level
  • Major should be in an Engineering discipline: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering.
  • Degree programs considered are Bachelor's and Master's programs
  • Must be able to complete a 3 month internship from May-August 2025
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of a 2.6
  • Must be open to relocation upon graduation

Work Environment:
  • Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hearing and eye protection, steel toe boots, and other PPE
  • Must be willing to travel for required training and plant assignments on an as needed basis
  • Compliance with FDA regulations established by OSHA and the company
