Position Overview:
The Enterprise Architect Manager will play a pivotal role in leading a team of Enterprise Architects, overseeing the overall design and maintenance of our enterprise-wide architecture. This position is crucial for ensuring that our architecture is closely aligned with our business goals and objectives, thereby facilitating the success and growth of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and uphold the enterprise architecture framework, encompassing business, information, application, and technology architecture domains.
- Collaborate closely with both business and IT leaders to comprehensively understand business objectives and ensure seamless alignment with the enterprise architecture.
- Take the lead in domain areas such as Business, Application, Data, and Integration Architecture.
- Advocate for continuous improvement in technology and architecture practices.
- Establish methodologies for ensuring compliance within architecture areas such as data storage, metadata management, and change control.
- Actively engage with business stakeholders, CISO, Risk & Compliance, and technology delivery teams to identify key business/compliance drivers, requirements, and capability gaps.
- Form strategic partnerships with other architects and technical leads to ensure the integrity of solutions and mitigate associated risks.
- Identify opportunities to streamline complexity and enhance integration quality.
- Provide support for fostering innovation, enhancing employee productivity, and promoting enterprise collaboration.
- Mentor and foster the professional development of other members within the enterprise architecture team.
Experience and Qualifications:Required Education and Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a strong focus on business, information, application, and technology architecture domains.
- Proven experience in building large-scale SaaS and PaaS platforms, including expertise in Cloud Computing, Mobile Platforms, Big Data, Information Management, Collaboration, and Virtualization.
- Familiarity with large-scale ERP upgrades, with preference given to experience with SAP.
- Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies such as TOGAF, PRISM, BSP, EAP, or FEAF.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with both business and IT leaders to achieve alignment and drive tangible results.
