Environmental Compliance Internship for Summer 2025
Job Description
Brooks is a growing, fast-paced technology leader of automation solutions which support the dynamic and expanding semiconductor and life sciences lab markets. We have a Summer Internship opportunity in our Environmental Compliance team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Review and create environmental compliance reports for sellable Bill of Materials.
- Review product documentation to ensure compliance to relevant environmental directives and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with compliance contractor(s) to add complex assemblies to the EU SCIP database (a database that identifies potentially hazardous substances).
- Review and evaluate risk of assemblies containing PFAS (a family of synthetic chemicals).
- Help contribute to and generate monthly KPI reports.
- Attend daily meetings to discuss overall team strategies and field questions.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate Degree program in an Engineering related discipline or in Environmental Studies.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of applications, with specific expertise in Excel.
- Familiarity with regulatory or compliance related directives is desired.
- Experience with the Agile PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) tool is desired.
