The Facilities Maintenance Technician for Cytiva is responsible for supporting the preventive maintenance program by carrying our effective maintenance routines, repairs, and to prolong the useful life and optimize the efficiency of Facilities equipment.

This position is part of the Maintenance Department located in Logan and will be on-site. This will be Graveyard shift, Monday-Friday 10pm- 6:30am and is eligible for shift differential pay. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

• Perform a full-range of maintenance activities on buildings, all building-related equipment, and production equipment. Working conditions can include: Facilities Engineering shop environment, safety hazards including welding, grinding, electrical work, high-pressure equipment, chemicals, dirty/toxic work areas, and noise. Required working extra hours and weekends as needed.
• Promote an environment of continuous improvement and innovation in line with lean thinking and maintenance best practices.
• Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with the Good Manufacturing Practices requirements maintained by the company. Comply with EHS regulations and policies.

Who you are:

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience, Knowledge in maintenance trades electrical, HVAC, Boiler, water systems, welding or related fields.
• Strong electrical, HVAC, boiler, water and electronic repair and diagnostic skills. General skills and expertise related to maintenance and facilities activities.
• Demonstrate levels of theoretical knowledge and practical application.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Relevant working knowledge of a regulated industry and GMP.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel within four sites in same city.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
