We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Federal Audit Senior Consultant to join our team in the Tysons office in a hybrid capacity.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to alternate time between both remote and office. YOUR TEAM.

This position will support CohnReznick's Government and Public Sector Advisory practice. This group is highly experienced and specially trained in the operations, processes, regulations, and reporting requirements of public entities. We are passionate about helping our government and public sector clients overcome challenges and build stronger communities and we have positions available for driven professionals who share our passion to make a difference. YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Supervise engagement staff as needed;
  • Perform field work, leading highly complex and technical tasks to ensure project completion;
  • Proactively identify and communicate project timeline, budget, etc. to team leadership.
YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The successful candidate will have:
  • BA/BS degree in accounting or a related discipline;
  • A minimum of two years of experience and one year of audit experience required;
  • A desire to obtain the CPA license required, CDFM and/or CGFM preferred;
  • Federal financial statement audit experience preferred;
  • Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS/Yellowbook);
  • Must be a US citizen with ability to obtain a Security clearance required; active clearance highly preferred.
