We are seeking a skilled Field Engineer with expertise in marine dredging to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, particularly in marine projects, and will be responsible for overseeing dredging operations, ensuring project specifications are met, and maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage marine dredging activities on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications and schedules.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate project execution and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor progress and quality of work performed.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards during dredging operations.
  • Prepare daily reports documenting work progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Analyze project data and provide recommendations for improvements in processes and efficiencies.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing updates and insights on dredging operations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum [X] years of experience in marine dredging or related construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of marine construction methods, equipment, and environmental regulations.
  • Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Experience with hydraulic and mechanical dredging equipment.
  • Familiarity with geotechnical and environmental studies
