Floor Finishing Supervisor

Hillyard, Inc. is currently taking applications for Floor Finishing Supervisor for our Flooring team in Kansas City MO.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities:

Supervise and participate in all phases of gym floor refinishing.
Manage a crew technicians, providing direction, support, and training as needed.
Ensure proper use of tools, machinery, and materials while adhering to safety standards and Hillyard best practices.
Inspect completed work for quality, ensuring that floors meet company standards and client expectations.
Coordinate with project managers and clients to ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget.
Troubleshoot issues that may arise during the finishing process and provide solutions.
Maintain accurate records of projects timelines, crew hours, and materials used.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools used in the finishing process.

Qualifications Include:

4 year Bachelors Degree in Management or related field preferred.
2 years of experience with Gym floor finishing or related field.
Proven experience in gym floor finishing or a related field, with a solid understanding for the refinishing process.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
Ability to operate floor machines, automatic scrubbers, and finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work.
Exceptional communication, problem solving, and empathy skills to consistently deliver outstanding customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet.
Physically capable of performing hands-on work, including lifting and operating heavy machinery.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
