Position Summary:We are seeking applications from highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellows to join the Canines Providing Assistance to Wounded Warriors (C-P.A.W.W.: https://www.fau.edu/i-health/c-paww/) Health Research Initiative for Veterans at Florida Atlantic University. Under the direction of Principal Investigator (PI) Cheryl A. Krause-Parello, PhD, RN, FAAN in the FAU Division of Research, the C-P.A.W.W. research team investigates human-animal interaction and nonpharmacological approaches to promote the health and well-being of veterans and their families. Specifically, candidates will be involved in exciting and highly innovative interdisciplinary research and community engagement projects.

Minimum Qualifications:Eligibility for appointment as a Postdoctoral Fellow requires the candidate to hold a terminal degree, e.g., Ph.D., M.D., D.S.W., Ed.D., D.Ph., D.N.P. A terminal degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to success in this position. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel., statistical software, and reference management software.
