Basic Job Functions:

Responsibilities of the Inside Sales Rep include but are not limited to:

  • Successfully selling projects that are profitable tons for the division.
  • Covering DSM role in territories without an active DSM or while DSMs are unavailable.
  • Generating project takeoffs and creating eQuote scopes from drawings, specifications, and engaging the builder.
  • Traveling with the DSMs to assist with builder recruitment, project meetings and box-by-box reviews.
  • Develop and maintain sales strategy and setting expectations with our builders to ensure equal business stature.
  • Multi-tasking between projects, scheduling, pricing, phone & email correspondence

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years' experience in Metal Building, Construction, or Construction related field or a graduate of the DDSM program.
  • Ability to interpret Architectural and Structural Drawings.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to builders' offices and job sites, possibly on short notice.
  • Required to have and keep a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Technical Associates Degree or Bachelor's in Business, Construction, or Engineering related fields
