Job Description:

The Adult Education Department is seeking (1) Institutional Work Study Student at 10 hours per week for the Fall 2024/Spring 2025 terms. Duties include:

• greeting visitors
• typing
• filing
• making copies
• sorting papers
• distributing mail
• answering the phone
• other office duties as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of computers
• The ability to communicate effectively on the phone or in person
• Good organizational skills
• Neat personal appearance
• Task oriented
• Pleasant demeanor
• Good work ethic

Minimum Salary or Salary Range:

$11.00 per hour

Background Check Statement:

This position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check. In cases where pre-determined, an additional financial/credit history/ background check may be required as well. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed, will be excluded.
