The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine invites applications from outstanding scientists who are qualified for research track faculty positions at the level of Instructor. The successful applicants will be expected to develop externally funded research programs in pathogenesis-oriented research, related to the field of hepatobilliary pathobiology. Ability to create or use of genetically altered animal models is necessary. Applicants should demonstrate research productivity and the ability to perform cutting edge research.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree or the equivalent in biomedical field and have at least 4 years of post-doctoral experience.
Applicants should have substantial training in cell and molecular biology, and in animal pathophysiology.
