The role will be to familiarize yourself with RTL restructuring to enable physical implementation and analyze the resulting connectivity to find ways to improve the original design.

What you could be doing as a Connectivity Classification Intern?

  • Using machine learning to classify the connectivity.
  • Using IP-XACT metadata to label, train, and predict the results.
  • Building the tools to automatically provide the relevant information.
  • Working on solutions that will make use of your existing knowledge and skills, whilst also requiring you to learn something new.
  • Analyzing existing tools and looking for enhancements/automation, alongside trialling new tools.
We are looking for individuals who:

Are currently enrolled and studying towards a Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science Degree (Bachelors, Masters or PHD students welcome). Candidates with alternative degrees will also be considered if they have relevant experience.

Qualities that will help your application stand out:
  • Experience with Python and Machine Learning packages (scikit-learn, etc.).
  • Good interpersonal skills with an analytical approach.
  • Curiosity about technology outside of the classroom - personal projects, hackathons, or internships etc.
  • Adaptability and willing to learn how to use unfamiliar tools and systems
Additional Information:

Arm Internships require you to be enrolled in a higher education degree and be returning to your course after your internship/placement.

If you are graduating in or before August 2025, you will not be eligible for an Intern role but you will be eligible for our graduate roles. Our graduate roles will be advertised on the Arm Early Careers website Graduate Program at Arm.

Salary in California:
  • From: $72,800
  • To: $120,640

This is a non-exempt hourly role which will be paid at an hourly rate based on the number of hours worked. Pay rates vary by location and educational level.
