Lead Operator, Manufacturing

Hours: 3:00PM-11:30PM

As the Lead Operator in our Manufacturing division, you will play a crucial role in enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. Location: Middletown, VA

Responsibilities:

Drive continuous efficiency improvements through the effective use of metrics, 5S, and the PPI process

Recommend and implement changes in manufacturing procedures to improve product quality and production efficiency

Ensure adherence to the provided schedule and set up Work Centers in a timely and organized manner

Train and lead team members, ensuring tasks are performed with a high degree of care and attention

Advise production for manufacturing jobs to provide on-time delivery for customers

Drive safety and housekeeping initiatives, identifying and addressing safety hazards

Complete vital production paperwork and documentation

Troubleshoot machine issues, inspect components for damage and wear as well as be able to assemble and disassemble filling and packaging equipment

Requirements:

High School Diploma / GED or equivalent

Minimum of two years of experience in manufacturing

Consistent record of multitasking, prioritizing, planning, and forecasting multiple projects

Ability to work in a team environment and influence others to achieve results

Self-motivated with a bias for action

Outstanding follow-up and social skills
