Our team is seeking a full-time, experienced Legal Assistant to support a busy law office servicing the DC, Maryland and Virginia area. This role requires high attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.

Salary:
* $70,000 to $80,000 annually
Responsibilities:
The Legal Assistant will provide general administrative support to four attorneys and our probate paralegals, with responsibilities including:
* Drafting routine correspondence and formatting/editing legal documents in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
* Responding to inquiries from potential clients and gathering case-specific information and documents from current clients.
* Scheduling client meetings, signings, and internal/external events, and preparing necessary reference materials.
* Managing both paper and electronic files, including copying, routing, and filing incoming and outgoing correspondence and client documents.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in providing administrative support to multiple attorneys or professionals, with the following qualifications:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Experience managing calendars for multiple professionals.
* Ability to coordinate meetings and events involving several participants.
* Strong writing skills, with experience drafting general correspondence.
* Substantial client or customer interaction experience.
This is an in-person position, though after 90 days, the new hire may be eligible to work remotely one day a week.
