Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions that effectively drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for a Machine Builder to join our East Providence facility.
In this position, you will be assigned to the Assembly Department and will report to the Operations Manager, assembling Application equipment that applies our fasteners.
Job Responsibilities:
* Assemble components, pneumatic and electrical assemblies using assembly drawing, blueprints and electrical schematics. Hand tools, soldering irons and assorted specialty fixtures and setting tools.
* Verify assemblies are assembled correctly, install on equipment and test run equipment after final assembly
* Skid and package finished equipment
* Record serial numbers and inspection documentation for ISO requirements
* Using forklift or Reach truck move machine frames and finished equipment to next step of processing.
* Maintain safe work practices and housekeeping programs
* Complete special assignments and other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
* Ability to interpret engineered shop drawings and assembly drawings
* Ability to understand electrical and pneumatic schematics and use them to assemble electrical controls and assemblies as well as pneumatic assemblies
* Basic math skills
* Ability to read and communicate with others
* Ability to use basic hand and power tools
* Requires standing for long periods, bending and reaching
* Able to lift 50 lbs
* Organized and maintain a clean and organized area.
Preferred Experience:
* Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits and assemblies
* Experience with pneumatic valves and assemblies to aid in troubleshooting customer problems.
* Aptitude using basic computer software
