Volt is immediately hiring Machine Operator for a company located in Austin, TX.
As a Machine Operator you will:
- Start-up, operation and control of automated equipment and peripheral hardware.
- Perform automated equipment set-up functions.
- Performs sequential start-up for the automated equipment and all peripheral hardware.
- Monitor the operation of the automated equipment and peripheral hardware.
- Initiate adjustments to ensure that the automated equipment and peripheral hardware operate within the established control limits.
- Monitor the shelf-life usage of perishable chemicals, moisture sensitive parts and raw card assemblies.
- Inspect quality levels of production on the automated equipment and peripheral hardware. Makes adjustments to equipment when needed. Initiate rework/repair activities when needed.
- Record data required for statistical process control or inventory management.
- Perform preventive maintenance on the automated equipment and peripheral hardware at specified intervals and schedules.
- Perform sequential shutdown, including the cleaning of the automated equipment or peripheral hardware.

Duration: 12 Months temp to hire positionShift timing: 1st shift 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Mon-Fri 2nd Shift 3:00 PM to 11:00PM Mon-Fri 3rd Shift 11:00 PM to 7:15 AM Sun- ThurRequirements:
- 6 - 12 months of manufacturing or related machine operating experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Pay Rate: $17:00- $19.13/hr*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
