JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARY: Food Production - Machine Operator PR05 - Full Time - Enid, OK 73701

INCLUDES: Bagger Operator, Corn Dog Operator, Blend Tech, Raw Clerk, Macerator Operator, Mixer Operator, Wrapper Operator, Press Operator

These positions start at $19.40/HR with a shift increase for second shift.

This position is responsible for operating machinery (Blending, Slicing, Grinding, Pressing, Bagger) includes ongoing production flow while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be willing and able to follow all necessary procedures to meet and follow USDA and Quality Control Regulations.
  • Must be willing and able to collect and record data manually or in Tyson data collection systems.
  • Must be willing to obtain LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certifications.
  • Must be willing and able to thoroughly cleaning off water and debris in all areas of the machine, including small and large belts.
  • Must be willing and able to inspect machines and sensors regularly.
  • Must be willing and able to swiftly identify and address machinery issues to ensure proper performance.
  • Must be willing and able to understand/use the control panel functions.
  • Must be willing and able to assemble and dismantle equipment.
  • Must be willing and able to stand, sit, bend, walk, stretch, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat, reach, and climb stairs frequently.
  • Must be willing and able to lift, carry, push, and pull 20-70 pounds.
  • Must be willing and able to work in extreme temperatures with damp environments and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces.
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime and weekends.
  • Must have basic math and computer skills.
  • Must be willing and able to understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions, and communicate effectively.
  • Must be willing and able to perform any other work as assigned by management.
