The Manager of Brand Creative will lead the creative execution for the brand, driving the development of compelling visual and narrative content across all platforms. This role is responsible for managing a team of designers, copywriters, and other creatives, ensuring the brand identity is consistently represented and elevated in all marketing materials. The Manager will work closely with the marketing and product teams to produce innovative campaigns, product branding, and digital content that resonate with the target audience and align with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead creative strategy and execution: Manage the development of creative concepts for marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with brand strategy and goals.
  • Oversee creative team: Guide and manage a team of designers, copywriters, and production staff to deliver high-quality, on-brand creative work.
  • Ensure brand consistency: Maintain a strong, cohesive brand identity across all visual and verbal communications, including advertising, digital, and in-store materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Partner with marketing, product development, and digital teams to ensure creative work aligns with broader business and marketing strategies.
  • Develop creative assets: Oversee the creation of assets for various channels, including digital, social media, print, and in-store marketing.
  • Monitor and improve creative processes: Continuously evaluate and refine creative workflows to optimize team efficiency and project quality.
  • Incorporate consumer insights: Utilize market research and consumer feedback to inform creative direction and ensure the brand resonates with the target audience.
  • Present creative concepts: Lead the presentation of creative ideas to internal stakeholders, articulating the vision and rationale behind each concept.
  • Manage external partners: Collaborate with external creative agencies, freelancers, and vendors to ensure quality and consistency in outsourced creative work.

Minimum Education/ Experience

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Fine Arts, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in creative roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.

Preferred Education/ Experience

Master's degree in Creative Direction, Marketing, or a related field.

7+ years of experience in creative management, particularly in fashion or lifestyle brands.

Preferred Certifications

Certification in Creative Direction, Graphic Design, or UX/UI Design.

Specific Skills or Experience Required
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative leadership and brand-building projects.
  • Ability to balance creative vision with business objectives and timelines.
  • Excellent leadership skills to inspire and manage a creative team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly.
  • Knowledge of consumer behavior and trends in the fashion or apparel industry.
