Location: Everett, WA
Salary: $19.00 USD Hourly - $22.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Medical Assistant in Everett, WA!!

Scope of Job:

Title: Medical Assistant

Place: Everett, WA

Position Type: Contract to Hire

Hours: 7:00am - 5:30pm Work days per week: 4 days per week, variable days off (also open to 5, 8 hour days)

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Performs all duties within the scope of a Medical Assistants practice and operates diagnostic equipment.
• Prepares and sterilizes medical equipment using the autoclave.
• Rooms patients according to policy and procedures, prepares patient for examination.
• Records patient care documentation in the medical record accurately and in a timely manner
• Supports and follows Standard Delegation of Orders (SDO)

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• Epic EMR and Core Medical Assisting experience
• Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification or the ability to obtain the certification within 180 days of employment.
• Current BLS certification
• Basic computer literacy required, with intermediate Excel skills.
