Location: Raleigh, NC (North Hills area)

DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY WITH SIGN ON BONUS OFFERED!

100% ON SITE

PAY: $60-$80/k

Responsibilities:

• Communicates with patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures and to request important patient information (removal of metal objects, fear of closed spaces) which could limit or hinder the procedure.
• Positions patients on examining table and places appropriate coils to cover area(s) of interest while following protocols set forth by Radiologist.
• Enters correct patient data, anatomical area to be scanned, and patient orientation into magnetic resonance imaging equipment into the computer while prescribing images with consistent positioning and angle.
• Communicates to the patient throughout the procedure to ensure diagnostic quality and patient comfort.

Requirements:

• Associate or two-year degree in Radiography
• Certificate in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (preferred)
• Current ARRT registration (required) and Current MRI Registration (preferred)
• Phlebotomy and Venipuncture Competency
• Current CPR certification
