The MRO Inventory Control/Buyer is responsible for managing the relationship with key suppliers and supporting activities including ordering, communication of demand/volume/delivery time changes, and order issue resolution. This position will manage POs and purchase maintenance parts, products and services in a cost effective manner and maintain inventory using a CMMS system working independently.

This position reports to the Facilities Manager and is part of the Maintenance Department, located in Pensacola, Florida and will be an on-site role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

• Work with suppliers on ordering, follow up regarding product demand, volume requirements, delivery time changes, issue resolution, follow up on back orders, etc. for the maintenance team.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure continuity of parts with no disruption and ensure they meet quality, service, and price performance standards.
• Transition existing CMMS inventory system data into new system (Hexagon) developing, administering and delivering complete parts/services program including equipment BOMs.
  

Who you are:

• High School Degree or GED
• 3+ years' experience in MRO/inventory control/purchasing
• Demonstrated experience managing parts inventory and utilizing a materials (CMMS) software program to track and control inventory
  

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience with order-to-payment process
• Ability to do monthly/quarterly cycle counts of spare parts inventory, measure accuracy.
