(Contingent upon available funding): 82,000.00 - 111,000.00, Salary Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with occasional nights and weekends. Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: The Human Performance and Nutrition Research Institute (HPNRI) at Oklahoma State University is seeking a dedicated and innovative Nutrition Scientist to promote synergy between HPNRI, OSU Extension, various colleges, institutes, centers, and departments within the OSU System and external partners. The successful candidate will initiate actionable research to enhance performance and advance the health of Oklahomans. The Nutrition Scientist will report to the Associate Director of Research and Strategic Initiatives and work closely with the Associate Director of Outreach to integrate nutrition science into health promotion through a performance lens. This role will champion the concept of "food is medicine" and utilize innovative research resources to establish evidence-based best practices that use nutrition to boost performance and prevent chronic illnesses. Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D./Ed.D in Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health, or related field.
Three years of experience in nutrition research, clinical practice, or community health promotion.
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or credential eligible (Must have RD credentials within 6 months).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse stakeholders and translate complex scientific concepts into accessible language.Proven history of collaboration and project management within multidisciplinary teams.Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software preferred.Adherence to ethical research standards.Preferred Qualifications:
