- RedHat OpenShift Container Platform application deployment support
- overall environment support and troubleshooting for OpenShift Platform
- hands on exp with on-prem Bare Metal environments, building Bare Metal form scratch in a data center

Day to Day/Project:

A telecommunications client is seeking an OpenShift Systems Engineer to join their team! They will be responsible for:
- planning, researching, designing, evaluating the OpenShift container environment for the Mobile Core and related technologies
- implement and maintain the OpenShift container environment for the Mobile Core in the Dev Lab
- test and certify the OpenShift container environment for the Mobile Core for features, compatibility, function, and capacity
- troubleshooting the OpenShift container environment
- installation, configuration, administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting server hardware, storage area network (SAN, FiberChannel, iSCSI, NFS), OpenShift container platform, on-prem Bare Metal (not in the cloud)

• What duties will the employee perform? This resource will perform engineering tasks involved in integrating our 5G Core Network Functions into a new OpenShift container platform.
• If not approved, who will perform these duties?We currently do not have a dedicated resource that would perform these tasks.
• If not approved, what impact would this have on the team, program or project? Without the additional resource we would be at risk of being unable to complete the 5G Core Network Function migration from Rancher to OpenShift within the required time frame.
