RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Payroll Coordinator in Boston, MA.Key Tasks:
  • Payroll Coordinator will process and audit weekly payrolls, including off-cycle checks
  • Calculate and adjust payroll for pro-rated pay, terminations, bonuses, and special payments
  • Work with managers to fix timesheet issues
  • Prepare accurate payroll reports as needed
  • Support year-end reconciliation by preparing and verifying reports
  • Investigate and correct payroll data issues
  • Provide timely support to employees with payroll questions or concerns
  • Ensure compliance with policies and internal controls
  • As a Payroll Coordinator, you will assist with audits and external information requests
  • Support system testing, analysis, and implementation as needed
  • Participate in projects and handle ad-hoc requests
  • Enter bonuses
  • Assist different teammates as they get pulled for ERP implementation work


REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 plus years of payroll experience
  • Multi-state experience
  • Must have PeopleSoft experience
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws
  • Extremely flexible and willing to help with any payroll position that's needed
  • Has run payroll at a company of over 5,000 employees
  • UKG is a plus


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
