Are you an experienced Payroll Specialist looking for an opportunity to showcase your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment? Ledgent is seeking a detail-oriented professional for a temp-to-hire position to manage payroll functions for our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process payroll for a designated number of employees (multi-state and/or global experience preferred).
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
• Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Collaborate with HR and accounting departments for payroll reporting and audits.
• Stay current on payroll best practices and legislative updates.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience (temp-to-hire or permanent roles preferred).
• Proficiency with [specific payroll software ADP Workforce Now.
• Solid understanding of payroll tax laws and compliance.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $30 - $36 per hr.
