JOB PURPOSE

This role will be focused on advancing Weatherford's North America (NAM) Physical Security (PHYSEC) Program. The position will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of PHYSEC projects and programs to protect Weatherford's people, assets and operations.

The position will advance Weatherford's PHYSEC Program, which underpins Weatherford's Asset Protection Program (APP), to identify key areas for enhancement and recommendation of mitigating treatments surrounding, but not limited to, Access Control Systems (ACS), Closed Circuit Television Systems (CCTV), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Duress Alarm Systems (DAS), Security Intercom Systems (SIS), and Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), developing Physical Security Plans (PSP) to train and build a culture around Physical Security.

The Individual will ensure programs are designed to maximize asset protection and minimize asset loss during normal and emergency conditions. This includes interfacing with security vendors directly, working with Weatherford's facilities and crisis response stakeholders, and managing projects to a high standard.

Additionally, this role will have a focus on ISO 27001 compliance, in relation to those controls which add physical protection to securing intellectual property. The candidate will need to possess strong technical knowledge as well as project management skills to be successful in this role.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

SAFETY & COMPLIANCE

• Maintains safety and service quality as first priorities when working across all areas of the business.

• Where required in the case of non-conformance, exercises 'Stop Work Authority' to suspend operations.

• Maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with company policies, relevant laws, regulations, standards and industry practices.

• Ensures applicable Weatherford security regulations, policies and standards are fully implemented, communicated and sustained across area of responsibility.

OPERATIONAL CAPABILTY

• Support Global Security leadership in advancing the PHYSEC Program, focused on policy design, process development, implementation and program management across the global facility portfolio.

• Develop and refine existing organization-wide PHYSEC policies and procedures to ensure alignment with international safety standards and industry best practices with primary focus on WFRD Site Security Vulnerability Assessment (SSVA), Access Control & Technical Security and Assest Protection Guidance.

• Risk Management: Perform thorough Security Risk Assessments (SRAs) of all Weatherford locations, identifying improvements to physical security systems (e.g.,badge readers, cameras, etc.), operational coverage, and security culture providing realistic and cost effective treatment-solutions to enhance physical security of WFRD facilities.

• Project Management: Deliver and maintain all WFRD PHYSEC projects and systems promptly and to a high standard, building effective communication channels and setting clear technical standards, working in collaboration with WFRD facilities leaders, Procurement Specialists, and WFRD authorized vendors.

• Regulatory Compliance: Oversee and ensure adherence to all relevant local and national regulations governing physical security and technical security systems, maintaining rigorous standard and practice compliance across all security operations.

• Managing effective physical security projects, in collaboration with key internal stakeholders, from designing strategies, identifying and mapping key milestones, defining overall goals, navigating project constraints, resource allocation, Statement of Work (SOW), operational guidelines, key deliverables, and project risk management.

• Manage and audit the utilization of 3rd Party Security Providers (3PSP) in collaboration with WFRD key internal stakeholders. This includes management of the security element of Weatherford Invitation to Tenders (ITTs), in liaison with applicable Supply Chain (SC) Management, Compliance, Legal and other management disciplines.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

REQUIRED

• Hold a Physical Security Protection (PSP) certification and at least one of the following credentials (or equivalent): CPP, PMP or CSMP.

• Be familiar with ASIS Protection of Assets (POA) standards and Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) principles.

• Previous experience in commercial security roles (5 years minimum).

• Relevant employment history (military, law enforcement, government intelligence, corporate security, or Physical Security dedicated role.

• Intermediate Microsoft Office suite skills.

• Broad knowledge of Security Risk Management:

o Physical Security

o Personnel Security

o Security Investigations

o Crisis Management (preferred)

o Information Security (preferred)

PREFFERED

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent level of study or function experience credits) majoring in a security related discipline.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

REQUIRED

• Security, Integration , Badge Access System, Physical Security Systems in conjunction with commercial acumen.

• Fluency in English language (written & verbal).

• Physical ability and willingness to respond to emergency situations.

• Critical thinking, reasoning, analytical and organizational abilities.

• Ability to collaborate with others and have excellent team building skills.

• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.

PREFFERED

• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills and the ability to communicate with large groups of people
