Description:
Judge Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapist for an opening with a local school in the Collegeville, PA area.

Position Details:

Title: Physical Therapist

Location: Collegeville, PA 19426

Type of Engagement: Contract

Rate: Competitive and Dependent on Experience

Specific Duties:

• As a School Physical Therapist, your role is pivotal in supporting students with physical disabilities, ensuring their access to education, and enhancing their quality of life. You'll collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to provide specialized physical therapy services in a school setting.
  
• Assessment and Treatment: Evaluate students, design individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions.
• Collaboration: Work with teachers, special education staff, and parents to integrate therapy into students' educational programs.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings as necessary.
• Communication: Share progress updates and recommendations with the school team and parents.
• Education Support: Develop strategies for students' participation in physical education and extracurricular activities.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate in physical therapy.
• State licensure and, if required, certification for educational settings.
• Preferred experience in pediatric physical therapy, particularly in schools.

Hours:

• Typical school hours, the hours will differ depending on what school you are working in.
