As a Physical Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional care to individuals seeking recovery from injuries, surgeries, or conditions affecting their
mobility and physical well-being.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
Major Responsibilities/Tasks:
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Administer and supervise therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional training to improve patients' mobility and strength.
• Utilize a variety of modalities and equipment effectively to support patients' rehabilitation goals.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on exercise routines, proper body mechanics, and strategies for preventing future injuries.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and comply with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines. The expectation is to have records completed within 48 hours of patient visit.
• Goes to multiple clinics as needed.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Masters of Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure as a physical therapist.
• Proven experience in conducting evaluations and implementing evidence-based treatment plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Dedication to ongoing professional development and staying updated on advancements in physical therapy practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with healthcare professionals and patients.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Attention to details, flexibility and focus are essential
• Ability to multi-task in an environment where interaction with others is constant and interruptions are frequent
