A role you will love:The Power BI Administrator will support the Power BI application to support the Corporate business needs. The primary focus of this role is on Power BI administration, providing technical guidance and consultation with application teams, clients, and Engineering Managers. This role also needs to support the business lines with their demand and is part of a cross-functional Agile delivery team which creates customer-oriented solutions aligned to the overall Computershare and Technology strategy and values.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Provide leadership with Power BI administration and the dashboard / reports development life cycle, technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support for the Resiliency Solutions portfolio
- Provide informal guidance and share knowledge with colleagues to enable them to contribute to the team's objectives.
- Configure environment settings, including security, data policies, and connection references.
- Control Power BI tenant features, activity logs, monitoring usage, assigning licenses, audit logging.
- Capacity planning of shared infrastructure work with infrastructure teams to execute upgrades, monitory server performance and usage.
- Successful delivery and support of high visibility reports - desktop, mobile, and dashboards reports.
- Work closely with Business Analysts and end users to evaluate business requirements and advise on appropriate informative views and dashboards.
- Design, develop, deploy and configure Power BI Reports and Apps to support customers based on business requirements.
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of Power BI solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to end-users, ensuring effective adoption and utilization of Power BI solutions.
- Manage deployments and setting guidelines for team using Power BI.
- Manage user access and permissions to Power Platform applications and resources.
- Configure and enforce security policies to protect data and ensure compliance.
- Maintain the Power Platform environment's governance policies, best practices and security standards.
- Monitor and manage Power Platform licenses to ensure compliance with licensing agreements
- Monitor and optimize Power BI performance
- Configure and manage gateways for on-premise data sources
- Understand usage patterns, identify areas for improvement, and track progress.
What will you bring to the role?
- Prior experience must include 5+ years of Power BI development and administration, including strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop
- Experience in creating visually compelling reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Has a strong work ethic and is able to deal with sometimes conflicting priorities.
- Curious and continuous learner - investigates, interprets and grasps new concepts.
- Self-motivated and can use own initiative to work with limited guidance to implement innovative solutions.
- Pays attention to detail, finds root cause and takes a rigorous approach to problem solving.
- Proficient in Oracle and SQL server ANSI-SQL is preferred.
- Ability to build pipeline to publish & promote reports is preferred.

Compensation. The base salary range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations. This range reflects our good faith to pay fairly based on our job evaluation of this role and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate's relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and other job-related factors.
Minnesota: $93,000 - $132,000 per year USD.
North Carolina: $89,000 - $125,000 per year USD.
Maryland and New Jersey: $98,000 - $138,000 per year USD.
California and New York: $100,000 - $145,000 per year USD.
