Job Title: Production Manager - Food Manufacturing
Location: Outside of Huntsville, Alabama
Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to join our food manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of supervisory experience and a strong background in food production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Supervise and mentor production staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet company goals and customer demands.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to ensure timely delivery.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as food safety standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and maintenance, to optimize production.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
- 2-5 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment. (MUST)
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of SQF, HACCP, and OSHA regulations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in production management software and tools.
